THE OFFICE
In search of an aesthetically pleasing yet functional interior, Upsher-Smith Laboratories of Maple Grove, MN sought out Indian Jack Multicolor slate to achieve a natural and organic feeling throughout their renovated office space.
THE INTERIOR
According to the designer, the slate added a soft touch to the lobby. “It's very stunning, very beautiful and very corporate,” said Lead Designer Gregory E. Madsen.
THE STAIRS
“The colors [of the slate] worked so well with the color palette. We also wanted to use the material because it was able to be cut [into smaller pieces].” Tile sizes used to create the pattern included 2 x 2, 4 x 4, 6 x 6, 12 x 12 and 24 x 24 inches.
